Well, this is what I think...
Like any beautiful rug they add warmth, texture, some color and create a finished look.
Not to mention they make for a safer and quieter staircase.
I say ... add the runner.

ReplyDeleteI have never seen a stair runner used in my city - bare stairs it is always. I'm actually considering it for my old staircase where the timber is a bit damaged. I think a runner might just be the trick to keep it looking polished! Love these images xx
